FAQ

  • Are these pots Food Safe?

Yes! All of my pots are foodsafe unless otherwise labeled. You can always assume anything that is made to be eaten out of will be safe. Any pot with raw clay or no glaze where food would be touching it would be considered unsafe for food. I also always double check for any imperfections that would cause them to be improperly sealed.

  • Are these pots Dishwasher Safe?

Yes. However, if you want these to last a long time the recommended care would be to handwash and dry. When pots get really hot real fast then pulled out into a cold cabinet quickly they undergo thermal shock , over time this will weaken the pots considerably. That being said, I don’t have the time to handwash every handmade piece of pottery in my house.

  • What about Microwave Safe?

These pots are microwave-safe. Microwaving your pots will lead them to break much faster than normal.
